Author: Chloe Sorensen
Chloe Sorensen is an undergraduate studying psychology at Stanford University. After losing a number of peers to suicide when she was in high school, she became involved in mental health advocacy and suicide prevention in the community. She is especially interested in the use of storytelling as a form of healing, as well as the impact that society's current narratives surrounding mental illness–particularly in the media–have on survivors. In the future, she hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and become a practicing child and adolescent therapist.
